LEGO City Undercover Release Date: March 28th
Nintendo Australia have announced their exclusive Wii U title Lego City: Undercover, developed by TT Games, will be available in Australia and New Zealand on March 28th, 2013, through leading game retailers and Nintendo’s eShop.
Lego City: Undercover allows players to get into the blocky shoes of muli-talented cop Chase McCrain, as he pursuits to stop criminal mastermind Rex Fury from creating more criminal havoc in Lego City.
As the title states ‘’Undercover’’, which is the main element of gameplay, gamers will use different costumes allowing them to progress further in catching Rex Fury. Each costume is equipped with its own ability; for example, dress up as a miner and Chase can utilize dynamite, while dressing up as a robber allows him to pry open locks.
Using the Wii U’s unique Gamepad to assist in the chase for Rex Fury, gamers can use the pad as a communicator to talk to others, a scanning device to search for clues or criminals and a GPS navigator which access’s maps and routes when driving around Lego City.
A prequel to Lego City: Undercover, titled Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins, has also been announced and will be released exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS later this year.
