Microsoft has just acquired Mojang studios and all of its intellectual property including Minecraft for 2.5 Billion dollars.
It was rumored earlier this week that Microsoft was looking to place a bid on the highly successful developing company Mojang which does not come as a shock.
It will be interesting to see how this will affect future releases and updates on cross platform such as PS3, PS4, Vita and Apple devices.
