Titanfall 2 Aiming For FY 2017 Release

EA’s Chief Financial officer, Blake Jorgensen, stated in publisher’s earnings call overnight, that the hotly anticipated sequel to Titanfall is designated to release in FY 2017.

This means that the highly anticipated mech shooter is expected to make it’s debut any time between April 1st, 2016 and March 31st, 2017.

Titanfall 2 has been confirmed as a multiplatform title, meaning it will be available across PS4, Xbox One, and PC, whereas the original title was limited to PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

According to Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella:

“I guess EA announced a sequel, so I could play coy and pretend I don’t know anything about it, or… yeah. So we’re working on a sequel. No official name yet, but we’re working on that. That’s the main focus but we’re starting up a second team and doing some smaller stuff too. Small, exploratory, taking it slow! It’ll be multiplatform.”
