Developer and publisher of the acclaimed Resident Evil franchise, Capcom, earlier this week dropped that yet another iteration in the RE saga is slated to make its console debut in early 2016.
Unveiled at the company’s TGS press conference, Resident Evil Umbrella Corps will entail a first person view as players launch invasions on their fellow gamers in order to attain new tools, and fight off the zombie hordes that envelop each unique map.
Umbrella Corps is a an online, competitive third-person shooter. It’s built on the Unity engine and will feature maps based on historic locations from the series.

Umbrella Corps will be priced $30/ £25/ €30 and features what Capcom calls an “analogue aim and cover system”, which the publisher says allows for precise control when firing from cover.
