Soon you can play an RPG about being sent into an RPG in KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Fantastic Days
Thanks to a partnership between Nexon, Kadokawa, and developer Sumzap, the Fantastic Days makes it’s way to a global launch on iOS and Android devices around the world, with a release window currently set for sometime in 2021.
KonoSuba: Fantastic Days has two unique types of gameplay; various battles modes and visual novel-style scenes, through which the game’s storyline unfolds. The two types of gameplay are inseparable, and as you beat each of the game’s levels you access new scenes that might have new items or new characters to add to your team.
Fantastic Days has entertaining battles with an active, Final Fantasy-style combat system: only you can take action during your turn, but the enemy might attack while you’re deciding what to do. During battles, you’ll have to face hordes of enemies as well as sustain attacks on the heroes you’ve sent into battle.
There are also a number of characters to discover, with various character classes, levels of rarity and elemental affinities that create nearly endless variety. Choose from the vast cast of characters and build a balanced team of heroes to beat even the most complex levels. And if you’re short a few heroes, you can get more with the game’s gatcha system.
Based on the Anime Series, KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! is an anime television series adapted from the light novel series of the same title by Natsume Akatsuki. The series follows the adventures of Kazuma Satō who, after he is killed in an accident, is sent to an RPG-like world, going on various adventures alongside a goddess named Aqua, a magician named Megumin, and a knight named Darkness.
This KonoSuba game features the storyline and characters from the original series and its anime adaptation, as well as exclusive characters and new stories created just for the game. Kazuma VA Jun Fukushima and Aqua VA Sora Amamiya have been confirmed to return to their respective roles for the game, which originally launched in Japan back in February.
