Hyrule WarriorsHyrule Warriors (Name Not Final) Has Been Announced As A Collaboration Between Nintendo And Tecmo Koei.

From the makers of the Dynasty Warriors series comes a game set using the setting and characters from The Legend of Zelda Series. In the latest Nintendo Direct a teaser trailer shows off what to expect.

While information is scarce so far from the trailer its clear the player can control Link and use common weapons from the series including Bombs and the Fire Rod.

It is unclear at this stage if there will be other main characters to play as like in previous Dynasty Warriors games or if there will be a form of Co-op.

There will be boss enemies such as King Dodongo to battle amongst the hordes of lesser enemies, all while sporting a fancy scarf.

Although the name Hyrule Warriors is not final, it does hint to multiple fighters to be used in the war against evil. Sheik, Impa or even one of the Goron chieftains would be a great character to play whilst leading the knights of Hyrule.

This game is not the next in the main series of The Legend of Zelda, but rather a spinoff from the Dynasty Warriors series.

Being produced by long-time Zelda Game designer Eiji Aonuma, 50. Aonuma was involved in the creation of popular “Zelda” titles “Skyward Sword,” “Twilight Princess,” “Phantom Hourglass” and “A Link Between Two Worlds.”

“Hyrule Warriors” is set to release this year for the Wii U to go along with a new Donkey Kong, Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros.
