Bethesda’s Pete Hines To Be Keynote Speaker for PAX Australia

The Penny Arcade Expo Australia (PAX AUS) returns to Melbourne with Pete Hines providing the opening ‘storytime’ keynote on the Friday morning.

Who is Pete Hines?

Pete Hines is the Vice President of PR and Marketing for Bethesda Softworks. Pete has worked with Bethesda since 1999 on The Elder Scrolls, Fallout and Wolfenstein franchises.

According to an announcement today, “He’s (Pete’s) done everything from writing manuals to playtesting games to serving as the company’s chief spokesman, and has worked on every title Bethesda has made over the last decade and a half.”

Last year’s Keynote speaker was industry great Ron Gilbert, creator of Monkey Island.

Other international guests already confirmed for PAX Australia include: Paul & Storm, Freezepop and MC Frontalot.

PAX Australia makes its new home in the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre this year from 31st October to the 2nd of November. Limited tickets are still available through the PAX website here.
