In response to many people telling them that their game is either too hard or too easy Creative Assembly have decided to add 2 new difficulty modes in the newest update for Alien Isolation.
Alien Isolation now has a Nightmare mode which will pit you against a smarter and faster Xenemorph more durable androids, and no HUD meaning you will never know how long your flashlight has left or how much health you have after a close encounter.
However like many of us you thought the game was already hard enough the novice mode may be a better option. This makes the Xenemorph a lot less adaptive making it a lot easier to hide from or deter, it also give Amanda a lot more health making the encounter with other humans and androids a little less intense.
