Developer, From Software, has today dropped that the next iteration in the Dark Souls saga, Dark Souls III will make its multi-platform debut in April 2016.
This new information was unveiled in the midst of the developer’s Tokyo Game Show (TGS) conference, in which they announced that the fourth title in the Souls series will entail an array of enticing new features ranging from potent attack modifiers to alternate customization features.
Publisher, Bandai Namco had Dark Souls 3 playable for the first time on PlayStation 4, however it was the same areas that had been previewed on PCs early this year. Dark Souls 3 was announced this past E3 and will be coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
For those who don’t know, Dark Souls 3 will see gamers take to a desolate realm, in which players will be imbued with an array of enticing new weapons, in order to quell the encroaching undead, and liberate the world. The game’s visual design will focus on “withered beauty”, with ember and ash scattered throughout the game’s world and little sunlight.
Praise the sun.
